Some of the members of the North Longford Flying Column.

The photograph of the North Longford Flying Column was taken on the morning of 1st May 1921 by a returned American who was entertaining them at the time, on the top of the Crott Mountain. A few hours previously the column had ambushed and shot dead two Tans at Reilly's house at Fyhora. The names of the men reading left to right are: Front row: Keiran, not a member of the column, but was 'on the run' and staying at Reilly's house. Back row: Frank Davis, John (Bun) McDowell, Seamus Mckeon (a brother of General Sean McKeon), Michael Tracey, Paddy Lynch, Tom Reilly, James (Nap) Farrelly, Frank Gormley and Hugh Hourican.
